What Is the Nike Killshot 2?

The Nike Killshot 2 is the successor to the original Killshot, a ’70s low-top sneaker made for racquet sports (like racquetball and squash). Though the collection finds its roots in sport, it has since transitioned to the lifestyle market, made universally popular in 2009 by a collaboration between Nike and fashion brand J. Crew. This partner brand successfully widened the shoe’s appeal by making some key alterations to the second model, such as swapping the original mesh upper for durable leather. What’s more, the collection became even more popular with the release of the 2019 movie Challengers, in which one of the stars wears a pair.

As well as using leather on its upper, the Killshot 2 has several more design features.
