What’s So Special about the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360?
Designing the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 was no easy task, requiring three years of development and innovative thinking from some of the greatest minds in the footwear industry. The brand had already established itself as a leader in the market, but that didn’t stop them from wanting to push the envelope, to create a sneaker on par with (if not better than) previous releases. To call their objective ‘ambitious’ would be an understatement.
The idea behind the 360 was centred on the concepts of newness, stability, and comfort. The running shoe was to be a compilation of everything that made a trainer effective, adopting the best technologies ASICS had to offer, such as GEL (which had been around since the late ’80s) and TRUSSTIC technology. As a welcome consequence, the 360’s silhouette took on a unique and highly appealing aesthetic, and when it was released in 2015, there was no shortage of eager fans ready to try out these runners for themselves.
