History of Saloman

Salomon was founded in 1944 by François Salomon. He started out producing ski edges in their tiny workshop with the help of his wife and his son, Georges . The brand continued to innovate, creating ski products, and found success and popularity.

In 2002, Saloman started to break into the footwear market by creating the XA PRO, which was a trail running shoe . However, the most popular shoe released by the company was the XT-6.
