Converse delivers another iteration of a hardwood legend with two new colourways of the Converse ERX 260 Mid. Best known for being laced up by late '80s basketball legends — including the Championship "Bad Boy" Pistons squad — the ERX 260 brings back that sweet sense of nostalgic sneaker chunk.

First introduced to the hardwood in 1988, the ERX was famed for embodying the perfect balance of bulky aesthetic with performance tech. Converse's Energy Wave cushioning system was the signature of the shoe — and the inspiration behind the Energy Return Multiplier (ERX) alias. Re-introduced for the 21st century, this release packs an OrthoLite insole for all-day comfort and a 4-piece moulded foam upper. Finished with embossed tongue detailing and a performance heel counter for superior lockdown, the game never stops for these not-so-subtle sneaks.

Arriving in two unique colourways inspired by two of the biggest basketball cities — Chicago and Detroit — the hues draw direct inspiration from their NBA hometown franchise colours. No surprises on the Chicago iteration, with Jordan-esque Black and Red (Bred) tones adorning the upper. Detroit calls upon clean white and royal hues for its city.
